The cost use one of their rockets (Falcon 1) is $8-9 million, the satellites on board were relatively inexpensive (given the experimental nature of the flight). In other words not a whole lot was lost. In case you fail to realize this, getting into space isn't easy. I heard on a relevant twitter message that it usually NASA 8 or 9 attempts to perfect a rocket. It seems likely SpaceX will probably beat those odds.
You're doing it wrong.
With people like you - dooming progress before it gets off its feet - no wonder many such measures fail.
This was their third rocket right? The first two failed right? Why was there any payload onboard?
