Seeing that comment reminded me of the digg article of him making videos for his kids and wife as they get older and made me really sad. So I went and did a wiki-check on him to see how he was doing, and I'm shocked to say, that he died only a little over a week ago. And what surprises me even more is I didn't see any press coverage about it. I didn't even see anything here on Digg about it. When George Carlin died we had a full week of memorials about him, though I didn't see anything about Randy Pausch, who in my opinion was far more important, I felt far more touched by Randy Pausch's last year of life than any of Carlin's. Thanks dig for brining this man to my knowledge.
