ive been using linux for about 10 years and people have been saying this stuff for the duration. how about either contributing to the project yourself, or letting the results speak for themselves instead of subjecting everyone to rehashed linux fanboi articles that aren't even that groundbreaking. i use linux daily on my webservers and sometimes at home, but it's got a long long way to go before it's appealing to the general public as a realistic desktop alternative.
