This is probably only going to work for people that way 100 pounds or less. The killer problem here is torque. You need to have enough torque in the engine to overcome the F=MA problem that happens as the use moves around, pulls back, moves forward etc. When M becomes larger, like US person larger you start to need to have tons of torque to overcome the force of the movement. The segway has nice high technology BIG electric motors, and BIG batteries to do this. The winglet is just too small to overcome the physics problem, unless you have a "small" population.

I agree that it's an excellent font (I'll use the word, I'm not a designer), but I think the main point of contention was its overuse. It's become cliche.

The current economic malaise is here because previously America was growing due to it's own debt. They were putting off the bill for growth till a later date. Unfortunately the due date is now. So it's going to slow into recession to create enough value to make up for all the bad debt that fueled it's growth previously. Any action you take now, just stalls the inevitable.
