There's actually a growing market for people that are semi-disabled. People who may actually be in good shape and are able to walk, but it is very uncomfortable to go long distances (and a wheelchair is overkill). This includes people of all ages that may have lost limbs in accidents, have arthritis, have old sports injuries, etc. Or even people that are in the final stages of recovery from knee or hip replacement surgery, but aren't back to 100% yet.
